Toy boats

IMG_0888.JPG

This project is based on and inspired by one of our favourite book. We completed this on our Boat theme day. Use the underlined link to read the blog. It is a slightly harder project and probably more fun for older children, as younger children will possibly need some help.

How to make.

Level: Medium.

Cost: Little.

Enjoyment: We had fun with this project though we did need some help.

Time: Approx 15 minutes.

You will need:

  • A sardine tin or something similar.
  • Something to make your sail, we used a cork, bottle top, straw and black insulation tape.
  • Strong glue.

To do:

There is not much to explain here as you will just need to use your tin as the boat bottom and then create a sail out of your chosen items, sticking together with strong glue – Enjoy floating in the bath or paddling pool.IMG_0891
